A Few of Our Favourite things...

On the go food: 

Ella's kitchen food pouches. Particularly, Banana, Mango or Blue Berry Baby Brekkie! We found something in Shoprite called Tomi's Treats. Shout out to the creators!

Nappy cream: 

Bepanthen!!! This thing is Diamond men!

Nappies:

Pampers premium protection. Its white with a yellow line that turns blue once it is wet. We love it!

Best fruit: 

Pear, well when I wrote this originally it was pear, now its prunes. 

Baby wash: 

Mum and Me with menthol by Cussons.

Baby bottles: 

Philips Avent Natural baby bottles. We've tried 2 other brands. But they are not quite avent. Funny story, while we were in Jos, I was boiling two of her bottles and forgot them on the cooker. I destroyed them *sniffles* so I had to go and find replacements. I could only find the Avent Classic bottles. lets just say they were not our favourite thing!

Drinking bottles:

We are yet to find our favourite. Drinking water is a bit of a struggle. ha! we have tried several beakers and even an oral syringe *covers face* We are making progress and will get there!

Baby wipes: 

Asda baby sensitive wipes. I love love love them! We've tried 4 other brands.

Hair cream:

Good old coconut oil from Tesco that smells like bounty!

Food:

Spaghetti bolognese

Baby body/ cream/ ointment: 

Aveeno cream. 

Baby powder: 

Mother Care All We Know baby liquid talc. 

Nursery rhyme collection: 

Little Baby Bum and now Chuchu TV; which is just like the BollyWood version of LBB. We need a Nigerian version. Where my people at???

Something funny about ChuChu TV, the rhymes must end on a positive note. Humpty Dumpty learns his lesson and does not climb the wall again and all the children are not allowed to clim the wall. Jack and Jill become firm and are able to take the pail of water to the bottom, no tumbling down in the end and with Baa Baa Black Sheep there is a brown and white sheep. talk about equality! lol. I like the positivity though:)

Nursery rhyme: 

It changes like weekly but I think 'wheels on the bus' is a winner any day. I personally like 'down by the bay'. Lol. My cousin says these nursery rhymes are more for me than for Ally. I plead guilty, I find them so entertaining. lol 

Book:

The bible? lol. Not yet *covers face* 

Pop-up Peekaboo Colours. Its full of surprises. I think the magic is in the pop-ups. May need to get a bible with pop-ups!

Place to buy headbands/ hair bands: China via Amazon. Shout out to my Chinese people all over the world! And Claire's.

Favourite new discovery: 

[Drum Roll Please...] Tkmaxx sell baby clothes, toys, books, shoes... we felt like we discovered gold that day. Yeah that's right GOLD! We love a bargain; Big Names, Small Prices!
